What a class book. I always thought Matthew McConaughey was different from the Hollywood elite, that was one of the reasons I was drawn to this book. The other was the theme of being a story-teller and creating ‘greenlights’ in every aspect of your life.
Live life on your own terms.
Be courageous, take chances, back yourself.
Aspire, then go and create.
Don’t half-ass anything.
Work your ass off.
Enjoy what truly matters most.
This was a really enjoyable read, an alternative memoir that spoke very little of glitz and glamour and fame. There are too many lessons to speak to here, do yourself a favor and read it.
