Preperation is the key component. The number of hours practicing, refining, tweaking stories and interview responses.

The number of actual interviews matters, coupled with a lessons learned straight after the event.

A post mortem conducted after each interview is a crucial tool in lessons learned.

Apart from putting in the work to prepare for an interview, the most significant improvement for me came a number of years ago.

I’m not too sure where I read/learned it but changing your mindset to the following made me far less nervous before and during an interview.

They are interviewing you, however you are also interviewing them.

That doesn’t mean you change your behavior or pepper the Interviewers with questions, it is more so that they need a great Candidate and you need to find a great Employer.
