Interviews used to scare the hell out of me.

 

In some ways, I still approach interviews with a degree of nerves.

 

That is a good thing. It keeps me sharp and ensures I don’t take the process for granted.

 

I work my ass off to impress; there is more to be learned that way.

 

I always ask my clients, ‘how ready are you for this/an interview?’

 

The answer usually is about 7 or 8 out of 10. That changes when the process starts…

 

The realization soon kicks in that the few hours of preparation you did ten years ago will not serve you now.
