🤬 Availing of an extra hour in bed?

🎯 Learned a new skill.
🎯 Availed of online courses.
🎯 Studied (formally or informally)
🎯 Spent the extra time working out how to make my role more efficient (note if you state something like this, be able to speak to it at length).
🎯 Read books on self improvement or related to my career.
🎯 Spent additional time with my family.
🎯 Used the commute time to work out.
I actually missed the commute at first as I used listen to podcasts and self improvement audio-books in this time. Of course it was a great benefit to get back 2 hours every day, I decided early on to use that time to exercise in the morning but also to learn a new skill and catch up on required reading.
It also happened two months before my exams so it was easy to put in another 5 hours a week on study and exam preparation. It was a great opportunity to have lunch with my family,
Of course i still had to maintain separation between my home office and my home life as i still needed to perform my required duties. I made a conscious effort to keep up communication with my boss and key stakeholders through video/phone calls which was a change from in person but I found this method very effective.
