Attributes serve their purpose.
I coach people to have lists of personal and professional attributes.
These should only be reminders of stories to tell.
Don’t tell the interview panel you are ‘motivated’ or ‘driven.’ You can use the words but only as part of stories.
Tell them you get up early and workout, you get to the office early so you can plan out your day, you engage in professional development because that’s how you grow and develop.
It shows you care.
Speak passionately about your career, what it means to you.
Telling them you are ‘driven’ is utterly meaningless.
Show – don’t tell.
